Recapping the last episode of drama serial Jaisay Aapki Marzi
The ARY Digital drama, Jaisay Aapki Marzi has come to an end. The last episode of Jaisay Aapki Marzi opens with Sheri (Mikaal Zulfiqar) entering his father’s bedroom. Sheri discovers that his father (Jawed Sheikh) has passed away. Afterward, a distraught Sheri reflects, seemingly regretfully, on how he treated Alizay (Durefishan Saleem).
Meanwhile, Alizay is content and happy with her baby boy. Sheri and Natasha (Kiran Malik) see the baby on Alizay’s Instagram feed. Sheri cannot visit Alizay because of a restraining order.
Against Sheri’s wishes, Natasha visits Natalia (Mashal Khan) and her mother to ask for her hand for her brother. She is rebuffed and humiliated by Natalia’s mother. Sheri is also displeased with her, and the two siblings get into a heated argument.
Natasha has not heard from her husband, Meerab (Ali Safina), in a while. The mystery is resolved when Meerab sends her divorce papers. Natasha discovers that he has been secretly seeing one of her employees, Shazia.
In fact, the two of them are pursuing a serious romantic relationship.
Natasha confronts Shazia publically and insults her. When she tries to slap her, Meerab rebuffs and rebukes her. A humiliated Natasha vents her anger at her employees. Afterward, Meerab marries Shazia.
Alizay’s lawyer sends Sheri and Natasha a legal notice to vacate their house, which their father left to Alizay in his will. Natasha wants to put up a legal fight, but Sheris is not interested.
Every ending is a new beginning
Alizay is not interested in owning the house willed to her. On the contrary, she discusses turning the house into a safe place for women coming from abusive relationships.
Sheri and Natasha vacate their mansion, and Alizay finds her voice again, and an audience, in a talk show. She recounts her experiences and talks about the valuable lessons she has learned about being her own person, having self-respect, and owning her mistakes.
Lacks nuance, but overall, a strong ending
